《2018年中央电视台春节联欢晚会》是由总导演杨东升执导的的大型综艺性文艺晚会。在每年除夕之夜，中央电视台都会了庆祝新年而举办综合性的文艺晚会，简称春晚。2018年的春晚于2018年2月15日（农历大年三十）晚20:00在中央电视台综合频道以及各省级卫视等全球同步直播，也称狗年春晚。晚会在历届春晚的基础上，大胆创新，与时俱进，不但保留了传统节日特色节目，而且还融入了新的科技和时代元素。狗年春晚的主会场设在中央电视台一号演播厅，在全国各地包括贵州黔东南、广东珠海、山东曲阜和海南三亚四个分会场。晚会载歌载舞，普天同庆，尽情地抒发了全国各族人民浓浓的乡情和亲情，营造了浓厚的传统佳节的热烈氛围，为全国人民送来了欣欣向荣的新的春天和美好生活的新希望

"2018 CCTV Spring Festival Gala" is a large-scale variety show directed by Chief Director Yang Dongsheng. Every year on New Year's Eve, CCTV will hold a comprehensive cultural evening to celebrate the New Year, referred to as the Spring Festival Gala. The 2018 Spring Festival Gala will be broadcast live simultaneously on CCTV's integrated channel and provincial satellite TV at 20:00 on February 15, 2018 (the 30th day of the Lunar New Year), also known as the Year of the Dog Spring Festival Gala. On the basis of the previous Spring Festival Gala, the gala is boldly innovative and keeps pace with the times. It not only retains the traditional festival special programs, but also incorporates new technology and elements of the times. The main venue of the Spring Festival Gala for the Year of the Dog is located in the No. 1 studio of CCTV, and there are four sub-venues across the country, including Qiandongnan in Guizhou, Zhuhai in Guangdong, Qufu in Shandong and Sanya in Hainan. The party was full of songs and dances, and the whole world celebrated together. It fully expressed the strong nostalgia and family affection of the people of all ethnic groups in the country, created a strong traditional festive atmosphere, and brought a thriving new spring and new hope for a better life to the people of the whole country
