《寻梦环游记》是2017年皮克斯动画工厂出品的一部美国动漫电影。

墨西哥小男孩米格从小喜欢音乐出生在鞋匠世家。家里祖祖辈辈都是做鞋子的，还由于太爷爷学音乐遗弃了自己的妻子和女儿背叛了家庭，所以家里面都禁止米格学音乐。在墨西哥，每年的亡灵节日，逝去的家人都会返回人间与亲人团聚，但是没有人能够去亡灵的世界，米格因为触碰了一把吉他而进入了亡灵世界。在亡灵世界，米格遇见了自己的太爷爷，并且在亡灵世界中发现了太爷爷当时并不是抛弃了妻子和女儿，而是被人陷害致死。太爷爷从来没有回去过现实世界与亲人团聚，而当米格知道了这个事情之后，就想让他爷爷回去和他的女儿（米格的奶奶）见一面。因为米格的奶奶也快要去世了。
